Our Story
Our Small World started with a simple belief: that every child, no matter their zip code, deserves the chance to discover the world, and their own gifts within it. Through cooking, business building, cultural exchange, and creative projects, we help young people grow into confident, capable, community minded leaders.

The Inspiration
Before Our Small World was an organization, it was a father and his son. d'Artagnan Connor Sr. grew up without his own father, and he made a decision: that absence would stop with him. He stepped up for his kids and gave his son the kind of presence every boy deserves: steady, honest, and always in his corner. That is the power of one man choosing to be there. It changes how a boy sees himself, how he carries himself, and what he believes he can become.
Today that father and son stand side by side as business partners. Sr. broke the cycle, and now his son is doing his part for the next generation. We built Our Small World because too many boys are growing up without that presence in their corner, and we refuse to leave it to chance. So we show up: in kitchens, in classrooms, and in the community. We are here to be the village they need.
